Consumer Price Index for South Sudan January 2014

The South Sudan annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) decreased by 8.8% from January 2013 to January 2014. The CPI decreased by 5.8% in Juba and Wau by 5.4% from January 2013 to January 2014. The CPI decrease was mainly driven by Lower food prices.
The South Sudan monthly CPI increased by 7.8% from December 2013 to January 2014. The monthly CPI increased by 5.9% in Juba, and Wau by 10.3%.
