CONSUMER PRICE INDEX FOR SOUTH SUDAN APRIL 2020

The South Sudan annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 39.5% from April 2019 to April 2020.
The increased was mainly driven by higher price in food and non-alcoholic beverages.
The annual CPI increased in Juba by 19.5% and increased in Malakal by 63.8% and decreased in Wau by
9% from April 2019 to April 2020.
The South Sudan monthly CPI increased by 6.5% from March 2020 to April 2020. The monthly CPI
increased by 7.4% in Juba, and increased by 50% in Malakal, and decreased by 8.4% in Wau. Read more
