Consumer Price Index for South Sudan May 2020

The South Sudan annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 37.7% from May 2019 to May 2020.
The increased was mainly driven by higher price in food and non-alcoholic beverages.
The annual CPI increased in Juba by 11.5% and increased in Malakal by 71.1% and decreased in Wau by
25.4% from May 2019 to May 2020.
The South Sudan monthly CPI has positively reduced by 3.9% in May 2020 as compared to 6.5% in April
2020. The monthly CPI decreased by 1.3% in Juba, and increased by 8.4% in Malakal, and decreased by
16.5% in Wau. Read more
